Inspire, Create & Happiness

Inspire, Create & Happiness

This slimline card was inspired by all the people who inspire me, with their creativity, on the daily bases. I am awe inspired by their creations and those creations make me happy!

I started with a 4”x8.5”{cut an 8.5" width of cardstock to 8" long and scored at 4"} base made out of Sweet Tooth Cardstock by MFT {https://mftstamps.com/products/heavyweight-card-stock-sweet-tooth?_pos=1&_sid=c75f0438e&_ss=r} and cut a piece of scrapbook paper slightly smaller for my layer.

I love this picture frame die from Elizabeth Crafts {https://www.elizabethcraftdesigns.com/collections/planner-essentials/products/planner-essentials-24-photo-frame-pages}, it is actually a journaling die I just cut off the binder hole part of the die-cut. I cut the picture frame out of MFT Ripe Raspberry Cardstock {https://mftstamps.com/collections/card-stock-specialty-paper/products/ripe-raspberry-card-stock}. I then trimmed the excess journal part off. I stamped each word, from Precious Remembrance Shops stamp set, {nla} on each frame with VersaFine  Onyx Black {http://www.tsukineko.co.jp/english/detail/versafine/index.html}. I recut the frame with scrapbook paper for the backing for my gals.

My gals are from the Unity Stamps Planner Series gals by Angie Blom {https://www.unitystampco.com/planner-gal-be-a-beauty/, https://www.unitystampco.com/planner-gal-love-them/, https://www.unitystampco.com/planner-gal-today/}. They are the perfect size for the frames. I stamped the girls with Versafine Onyx Black on watercolor paper. I waited a little time before I proceeded. This gives the Versafine time to ‘set’. While I was waiting  I picked out the Kuretake Zig Clean Color Real Brush Watercolors {http://www.realbrush.jp/en/} I wanted to use. I also leave my stamped paper and my stamps in my Misti. I do not move either one. I do this because after I color my stamped images I always go back and stamp them again with the Versafine so my lines are clean, clear, defined and black. I actually color my images in my Misti, lol! I colored my gals, stamped them again with the VersaFine and then cut them out using my Scan n Cut {https://www.brother-usa.com/products/cm350e#:~:text=The%20Brother%20CM350%20ScanNCut2%20provides%20users%20with%20the,a%20variety%20of%20shapes%20and%20designs%20with%20precision.}. I glued them on their background paper  and trimmed off the bottom excess. I glued them in the frames. I gave their flowers a touch of Wink of Stella {https://www.amazon.com/Stella-Brush-No999-Glitter-Clear/dp/B06WVPG4D2} and added a Rhinestone necklace on Inspire and pearl necklace on Create.
